The dignified 13-floor office building with a view to the airport, Lake Ülemiste and Tallinn Old Town is named after one of the founders of the Estonian astronomy community – Ernst Öpik. The building has been designed to consider all the needs of a modern company – it is stylish and respectable, while being fully considered, as well as efficient. The office building fits into the innovative Ülemiste City Campus seamlessly and the second office building will be completed in the autumn of 2018.

Ernst Julius Öpik was one of the founders of the Estonian school of astronomy and one of the most notable astrophysics of his generation. In contrast with the increasingly spreading narrow specialisation, he tried to address every question in relation to the rest of the universe. The innovative office building bearing Öpik's name has been thought through in a similar manner. The modern alternation between black and white surfaces on the building’s facade is characteristic of the morphological approach of Öpik's research.

The project of the Öpik Building complies with the requirements of the LEED Platinum certificate, which guarantees the energy efficiency and environmental friendliness of the building. The building is designed to satisfy the requirements of energy efficiency class B, keeping heating and coolintrans g costs very low. The indoor climate of the offices can be adjusted according to your wishes, and by different rooms.

Flexible and convenient

Tenants can select between three standard interior design solutions and find an office complying with their needs, as the 1,250-square-metre standard floors can be used as one large office or divided in up to eight separate offices. There is a spacious lobby on the ground floor of the building, which can be used as a cosy meeting place, and a café for a convenient lunch. There are also many other restaurants in Ülemiste City that offer a change from the café. The building complies with the modern requirements for access for people with special needs and has 6 lifts, thanks to which employees and visitors can reach their destinations fast. A parking lot for bicycles with washing capabilities as well as a heated car park is located on the basement floor. Access into the building is guaranteed 24/7.
